Statement of Works
CommandPost® has been producing to been utilised, across multiple years, for the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.
This event is one of the largest participation sporting events in the Southern Hemisphere, only comparable in scale to the Commonwealth Games. With more than 7,000 competitors from over 220 clubs nationwide.
CommandPost® was integrated into the event’s command and coordination framework to enhance situational awareness, operational efficiency, and stakeholder collaboration. The platform provided safety officers with a real-time common operating picture, enabling proactive decision-making and streamlined communication across multiple agencies. This included seamless digital completion of compliance-related inspection forms, efficient tasking of operational requirements, and the ability to interface with key stakeholders responsible for event security, emergency management, and public safety.
Through desktop and mobile accessibility, CommandPost® enabled event organisers to track and escalate incidents, log and manage risks, and maintain a comprehensive audit trail of all activities. This enhanced visibility ensured that teams could swiftly respond to emerging issues, uphold compliance standards, and deliver a coordinated response in line with established safety protocols.
A key feature of CommandPost®’s implementation was the facilitation of real-time reporting and incident tracking, allowing event coordinators to manage safety concerns efficiently and effectively. By leveraging digital workflows and automated notifications, the solution improved response times, enhanced accountability, and provided a structured approach to risk management throughout the championships.
