CommandPost® has been engaged with Oxfam Trailwalker Australia across multiple years to equip teams with the ability to proactively manage the safety of participants and personnel.
The solution enabled agencies, including SES, Police, Ambulance, Fire + Rescue, and St John Ambulance the ability to view a common operating picture. Participants and SES response crews were equipped with GPS devices, which displayed in real-time within CommandPost®, to pin-point requests for assistance and to dispatch SES crews more efficiently than ever before.
This solution facilitated real-time incident command and emergency response coordination. Various integrations were enabled, including the ability to disseminate links directly to participants to instantly retrieve their pin-pointed location and to coordinate appropriate resources.
The implementation of CommandPost® has equipped event contractors and emergency services with the ability to maintain situational awareness, effectively respond to critical incidents, and to maintain a real-time common operating picture across all stakeholders.
