CommandPost® was procured by City of Port Phillip and stood-up within the Event Control Centre (ECC), Event Operations Centre (EOC), St John Command Centre (SJ1), Incident Police Operations Centre (IPOC) and the Victoria Police Command Unit for St Kilda Festival 2022 – 2024.
CommandPost® was utilised as the primary interface between all agencies – including: Local Government, Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, St John Ambulance Victoria, Security, Traffic Control and relevant contractors. The implementation of the solution provided real-time coordination of ground resources by relevant agencies and functional areas in response to production and public safety incidents across the local government area.
City of Port Phillip used functionality to set custom priorities, identify incidents, categorise actions for council reporting, overlayed emergency management maps and for tasking ground-personnel.
Through the implementation of CommandPost®, government agencies and production teams were able to maintain a common operating picture and to respond to incidents quicker than ever before.
